Dive 01 [video | action for New Bark]

Yo there, uh-- Johto! I already skimmed the manual thing, so I'll spare you all the boring questions and skip to the more important personal one!

*Aoto gives a casual wave to the camera after that. He seems in good spirits for somebody who just got kidnapped, but hey whatever.*

You see, it's best to seek out your allies early on in the game, yeah? So now it's recruitment time! I already got my eager little guy-- er... Little big guy? *He pans the camera over to show off his Makuhita, who gives a pound of his chest as a greeting to the network* --funny looking, ain't he? Anyway, allies! Best to ask about the ones I already have first, yeah? Sooo...

If any of you folks know someone with purple hair, let me know! There is a good chance they're somebody I'm familiar with-- Oh, and if they wear said hair in twin pigtails, it is a definite match! Beyond the purple haze, there's the beige haired girl who refers to herself in third person, and... ... wow, practically everybody I know aside from Saki really does have purple or purplish hair...

So, uh... Yeah! Give me a shout out if ya know somebody who fits in there, okay?

... in the meantime, it is time to figure out a badass name for my little yellow bro here... *ker-click*

Funny enough, the worst happened after...but good comes of that too, and everything is a good learning experience! It does seem quite peaceful here, I honestly wouldn't mind staying.

Hmm, I guess another word is vehicle? Would that make any sense? Like a boat, or an airplane, if you have either of those? Just...not that.

I won't ask for the details, but if you learned from it, that's good. Just take it easy for the time you're here, yeah?

--oh! Now vehicles I get. If any of those fly up in the sky, I've probably seen something similar.

Yes! Well, I've only been in one of those a couple times, more commonly it's much smaller, with wheels and travels on land, but even that's not something many people use, most people ride horses, or use them to pull carts. But even then, many people can't afford to keep a horse, so I always felt badly riding in a motorized vehicle, I would rather ride a horse anyway, and walking is much more healthy. I think the poorer citizens appreciate the gesture as well...I for one don't want to rub salt in the wound by seeming high-and-mighty.
...Ah, now I'm rambling, sorry.

Heee~h... It's fine, Bice. It's all really interesting to hear about! I mean... I know what you mean about the whole citizen split, though it didn't really involve vehicles or anything back where I'm from.

Still, from the sound of things, I feel like I should help you get a horse here. I met a girl who had what looked like a smaller one, so maybe you can find one later on?

Oh, that's true, I've heard of horse-like pokemon, I'll have to keep an eye out, that IS something I'd like.

What was it like where you're from? What kind of family are you from?

All right, I'll be keeping my eye out for one for you!

Huh? Well... I'm from Blue Canyon Hamlet... Like the name should imply, it's a pretty small place-- everybody knows each other, so the whole town is like family to me. It's kind of out of the way and it's not a bustling place like the Tower, but home is home, you know?

Hmm, that does sound like a nice place to live. Maybe the younger generation would get restless and wish for the city, but a small town is the kind of place you can really call home.

Well, I do like going to the big towns... I think it's just more comfortable living in a place where you know everyone.
